“Hulagway sa Kinabuhi is a weekly photo meme that is inspired by our native tongue Bisaya.
“Inahan” in Bisaya means mother. The photo above is my beloved mother. I wasn’t able to make a post for her on Mother’s Day so this is one good opportunity for me to honor her.
My mother or “inahan” may not be a perfect mom but I thank the Lord for her life because she is indeed a blessing. She is a strong woman and by God’s grace she was able to raise 3 kids alone. She has perfectly replaced the role of my biological father who was never a father to us.
In all the things that has happened in my life, I thank God for giving me a mother like my mom. It is my prayer that the Lord will continue to bless her with good health and that her heart will always be filled with God’s love and blessings.
