We are suppose to have a Christmas party today, but because of what happened in our city everyone are not excited about having a celebration. Our city is in a state of mourning. A lot of people have died because of the flood and many have lost their houses. That is why we decided to cancel the party and gather a sum of money to help the flood victims.
I don’t know how will the people here in Cagayan de Oro City recover from this tragic experience. It’s supposed to be a time of joy but I guess everyone can’t celebrate Christmas because of the sad experience. I hope everyone will find the strength and joy to face a new day despite what had happened.
