Today is the birthday of my high school friend Sheryl, the girl in yellow. This photo was taken last Friday during our pre-birthday celebration for her.
If I am not mistaken Sheryl is the youngest in our group. She is a jolly person and she loves to share her thoughts no matter what it is. To make it short she is a certified “chikkadora”. (Ha!ha!)
Kidding aside, Sheryl is one of the most generous friends I have. Way back in high school, she always welcome us in their house especially on making projects and practices. One time, I was invited to join a Junior-Senior Prom in a male exclusive school. I was hesitant to join because I don’t want to bother my mom to buy me a new dress. Sheryl was kind enough to lend me a beautiful dress and a nice bag. After the event, I returned the dress to her and she gladly gave the bag. That’s how kind she is.
Two years ago, she invited me in her birthday celebration together with her officemates and family members. Instead I was the one to give her a gift, she was the one who gave me a special gift from Baguio. Even if we don’t meet often, she still remembers me and all our other friends in high school.
Sheryl is a nutritionist by profession. Whenever I have events in school that is related to health and nutrition I always call her and she willingly gave her time for me and for our school.
To Sheryl, I am thankful that God gave me a kind and generous friend like you. It is my prayer that He will give you all the things that you desire in your heart. Most of all, I hope that He will give you the right husband (*wink*) who will love you the way God loves you.
